A beautiful 19th century Pair of Japanese Imari Lidded Ginger Jars/Vases.
 
This highly decorative and fine pair of Japanese Imari ginger jars depict a central outdoor ceremonial scene surrounded by colourful geometric and floral patterned designs. The lids feature floral painted finials and each jar has a marking on the base. These jars are in superb condition with no cracks, chips or restoration, and would make an excellent decorators’ piece for many different rooms.
