A ceramic figure of a life-size basset hound, dated 1907s. A rear and adorable depiction of a basset hound. Unmarked but very probably made by Montebello in Italy. Very good glaze and casting. The stance and expression is very lifelike and the attention to detail is excellent. Condition exceptional for its age. A wonderful statement and warm friendly addition to any room.
